Indie developer and publisher Telltale Games has teased two pictures to promote The Walking Dead: The Final Season.
The first image – shown at the top with a caption on Twitter that simply reads "..." – shows dozens of walkers in a grassy field drawn to protagonist Clementine's hat, which has some blood stains. With an ax in hand, Clementine is bracing season two's Alvin Jr. from zombies in the second photo, shown below. As one Twitter user pointed out, this teaser with Clementine for The Final Season is a reflection of her father, Lee, protecting her from an attack during the series' first season.
Telltale is planning to reveal gameplay for Clementine's finale during a panel from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST on April 6 at PAX East. Those who wish to watch the panel can go to PAX's Twitch channel here.
Find out Clementine's fate when The Final Season is available this summer.

Our Take
It's hard to fathom the series that helped put Telltale and choice-driven narrative games in the spotlight is coming to an end – well, at least Clementine's arc is. We hope it goes out on a high note, though if the series' numerous dark turns are any indication, it might not be the happy one we secretly want.
